V.S. Public School emerged as the overall champions at the Jharkhand State Inter-School Sports Meet 2023, held in Ranchi. The school's contingent of 60 athletes excelled across disciplines including athletics, football, badminton and chess, bringing home 11 gold medals, 7 silver and 4 bronze. V.S. Public School's Annual Function 2024 was a spectacular showcase of talent, culture and community spirit. Held at the school auditorium, the event featured performances by over 300 students — spanning classical dance, music, drama and art exhibitions. Parents, alumni and dignitaries from Jamshedpur were in attendance, with the evening concluding with the felicitation of academic toppers and sports champions.

Students and teachers of V.S. Public School planted over 500 saplings across various locations in Jamshedpur as part of their 'Green VSPS' initiative. The school also activated a rooftop solar plant this year, making it one of the few solar-powered schools in Jharkhand. The Green School Initiative Award from the Jharkhand Environment Authority followed shortly after, validating the school's commitment to a sustainable future.
